Advanced Lipids is a joint venture between Frutarom, a global leader in taste, scent and nutrition,
and AAK, a global provider of value-added vegetable oils and fats to the infant formula industry.
Human milk is the best nutrition for infants, so companies seek to produce formulas that are as
close as possible to the composition of human milk. INFAT®, marketed and sold by Advanced
Lipids, is a scientifically proven fat component used in infant formula, which mimics the
composition, structure and benefits of human milk fat.
Advanced Lipids was looking to create a new premium category of baby formula ingredients. Our B2B2C communication needed to
highlight how our product was as close as possible to human milk. The business goal was to capture the number position from the
largest competitor in the field and to constantly continue leading the category.
For over a decade, Marcomit has been part of the Advanced Lipids team, closely involved in their growth. Our strategy
involved creating events with key opinion leaders in the field of infant formula, which included building an independent
international infant nutrition advisory board with leading industry experts. This helped foster perceptions of Advanced Lipids
